Is Michelle Wie a cheater?
Does anyone else find it suspicious that for the second time in her short pro career she has been caught by cameras or spectators NOT assessing herself appropriate penalties?
For the second time (see quote below) she explained that its a good learning experience and then again reminded us she’s only 16 – apparently old enough to get $10M from Nike, but not old enough to be expected to know the rules of golf. Hmm….
Michelle’s quote:
Well, I knew I hit the moss, but I guess I knew the rule wrong,” Wie said. “I always knew from the time I started playing golf that if you swing through it, it would be OK. I knew I hit the moss but I guess I knew the rule a little bit differently. “So it’s a good learning experience. But I’m only 16.”
Seems a little fishy eh? Never really thought of it that way though. I figured she really was a little uncertain of the rules more then anything.
I think she does nows the rules and hoped no one would notice. Thus, I guess she was not being honest therefore, she’s a cheater!
